Roller Coaster adheres to the principles and ethics stipulated in the legal documents on journalism in Vietnam, such as the Press Law (amended in 2016), Decree No. 159/2017/NĐ-CP, and the Regulations on the Operation of the Press (issued together with Decision No. 43/2011/QĐ-TTg of the Prime Minister). Roller Coaster understands the specific regulations on the contents related to the operation of the press agencies, including the regulations on the organizational structure, tasks, and powers of the levels and positions in the editorial office; on building and implementing the production plan of the newspaper; on censoring and checking information before publishing; and on handling complaints, denunciations, and violations in press activities. The principle of journalism at Roller Coaster is to serve the interests of the state and the people; the ethics of journalism are honesty, objectivity, fairness, transparency, timeliness, and legality.
